Our Mission

Our Mission to help our customers achieve greater sustainability is in part inspired by Ray Anderson, founder of Interface Carpets. Interface Carpets are a leading example of developing a sustainable business. In 1994 Anderson set his company on the path to become truly sustainable by eliminating all types of waste and attempting to be environmentally restorative in their use of finite natural resources. Ray, who passed away on 9 August 2011, inspired many people with his vision and often concluded his speeches with a poem called Tomorrow’s Child, written by an Interface employee who was inspired to write this after hearing Anderson.

Our expectation is that when a customer is served by Advantage Recycling, the savings achieved in efficient material recycling both adds value to the business and leaves our little piece of the world a better place.

Without a name; an unseen face
and knowing not your time nor place
Tomorrow’s Child, though yet unborn,

A wise friend introduced us two,
